I would love for Disney to go back to the hand drawn animated musicals. I think it would be a breath of fresh air from all the computer animated films that flood the theaters now in days. There are still a lot of classic stories they could put their own spin on.

Walt Disney Animation Studios visual effects supervisor Marlon West, who has spent the last few years working on Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. While he did share a few short behind-the-scenes videos showing his work in that movie so far, the biggest bit of news to come out of the presentation came during the question and answer session, where West mentioned that Disney is looking to continue making one 2D hand drawn animated movie once every two or so years from now onover a year ago
Thanks for that tidbit sophiebridgers! It's nice to know they are not completely abandoning their roots. Disney rakes in so much money in everything else they do, I'm sure they can find some way to fund them if they really want to.over a year ago
ok im definitley a disney fan but a friend send me this video about how literally so many of the scenes in classic movies are exact copies of each other. like when the animators made a new scene they basically just used what they had already drawn.
do you think this is ok?? / are they being lazy?
just copy and paste the link i guess idk how else to share it.
Yeah I´ve seen it before. I´m actually ok with it, I mean it´s not great, but animated movies take a lot time to be completed and sometime animators and producers face deadlines so it´s fien with me I guess, I mean I can live with it...over a year ago
I noticed it too but it didn't bother me. Besides, I think they did it because they were trying to save money. Don't forget, computer animation didn't come around until the later 1980sover a year ago
IF YOU LOVE DISNEY CLASSICS - please go here and read the 1st comment and like it ( It goes like this: "Hello, im a student in England and im going to work for Disney..."). I don't know if it's true, but it won't hurt to take only 30 secons of your life to read it and like it. And you never know, anything is possible. :)
It's not sad. Disney movies are made for families (unlike other Hollywood productions). I know some adults who enjoy watching Disney films.over a year ago
Am I the only one that gets annoyed at the way people are such kiss asses to PIXAR and that there is no more classic animation. Its not Disney without hand-drawn animation and fairytales, princesses or not.

On December 5th 1993 a fanpop user is born and he loves all Disney things that user is Elemental-Aura
But more importantly in December 5th 1901 a GREAT man was born and he became a famous producer and created the greatest animation cartoons of all time and he inspired others to do the same. And that GREAT man is Walt Disney.
Happy Birthday Walt Disney. We all hope Disney lives on forever.

Join the club Drisina I too miss the classics form the 90s. Now you’ve got bloody Camp Rock 2 and it is now catered to youngsters and
stinkin computer generated movies from Pixar which I find bloody boring.
